TRANSCRISUR -facilitating community transformation

Nearly everything that is done in the Choluteca regional ministry involves education in some way. It may be by teaching new converts in a small class setting or by mature Christians mentoring growing Christians one on one. Each of our church congregations offers teaching times in Sunday School classes and mid-week meeting.

Transcrisur also has invested in a vocational school which provides courses in sewing, refrigeration, and auto mechanics. The vocational school also provides a junior high in the evenings for adults who work during the day.

In April 2009 a Bible Institute was started for the purpose of preparing future leadership for the growing regional church. After a two month period of studying the course materials in small group settings the students attend three days of lectures and discussion before taking a exam to verify their level of comprehension of the subject.
