Jairo: "God afternoon Samuel, how are you doing?"
Samuel: "I'm well prof, thank you."

Jairo: "I would like to ask you a few questions, is that OK?".
Samuel: "We'll see if I can answer them."

Jairo: "Samuel, how did you first hear about the vocational school?"
Samuel:"I heard about it because I saw a sign about the school on a small store in my community. My mother heard about the school also and asked me if I would like to study. That is how I arrived here."

Jairo: "Where do you come from?"
Samuel: "I come from the community of "Cerco de Piedras" on the way to San Marcos de Colon, about an hour from the school on bicycle."

Jairo:¿"What has it meant for you to be able to come to the vocational center?"
Samuel: "It has meant much for my life because here I am learning a trade that I have always like, but the best of all is that all of the courses are offered free, and I am able to use the tools to do my class work. This is a great help for me."

Jairo: "What problems have had in coming to the school?"
Samuel: "The biggest problems that I have faced have been economic ones. Sometimes I do not have money for the trip to school. Then I have to come by bicycle. Another problem is that I only have one uniform for classes since I don't have enough money to buy a second one."

Jairo: "What would you be doing if you were not her in the vocational center.?"
Samuel:"If I was not studying I would probably be working in agriculture or I might be a helper on a truck distributing snacks, but I was afraid to do this job because of the danger."

Jairo:"What expectations do you have for your life after finishing your studies here at the center?"
Samuel:"After finishing my studies and after I have become a good mechanic, I will begin an aprenticeship in a shop and little by little once I have some experience I will beging buying my own tools. My dream is to eventually have my own shop."
