 Project Description:
 
There is a definite information gap for the people of Choluteca. A quiet, well lit, and secure building with library books and audiovisual equipment will allow students to find needed resources to complete assignments and will provide materials for church members who want to better prepare for areas of ministry.
 
Our church members and the surrounding community will have the resources to a better education (including Bible reference materials). The “Religion” section will be especially valuable for pastors and lay leaders.
 
Most people in Choluteca have never been in a library. Since Hurricane Mitch and the establishment of the Honduras Holiness Church in Choluteca, there has been an increased interest in education. One of the biggest concerns of our church members has been that their children have had to search all over the city for resource materials in order to complete high school and university class assignments.  This becomes a safety issue as well as a quality of education issue.
